Objective
Contrast High, a Cleveland based fashion company reached out to me to shoot their launch photoshoot for their new clothing line, a Good Soul:
Concept Development
From Contrast High’s brand launch materials, I concluded that the A Good Soul launch shoot needed to do more than showcase the clothing. It needed to communicate that being a Good Soul isn’t about looking cool, it’s about embracing your humanity, individuality, inherent value, and spirituality.

To communicate this, I developed a shoot concept centered around revealing the person behind the clothing:
Authentic casting: Models would be people Contrast High knows personally; individuals who are driven, purposeful, and embody the values of the brand.
Objects with meaning: Each model would be photographed alongside personal belongings that hold significance to them. Paired with portraits, these objects would offer a glimpse into what makes each person unique and what gives their life meaning.
An intimate setting: The shoot would take place in a studio, creating an isolated, intimate environment. The simplicity of the space would make the viewer feel as though they are looking beyond the surface and into the model’s “soul.”
