Hi, I'm Maya Solganik!
I was made in Cleveland and currently reside in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I am studying Communication Design at the University of Cincinnati DAAP.
My creative background started long before design school. As a kid, I started and ran a slime company called Tibbleslimes that grew into an international business, where I taught myself everything from product development and packaging to photography, social media, marketing, and running a team. That experience shaped the way I approach creative work today: I like not only making things, but building ideas around them.
I am currently pursuing all things graphic design and take a particular interest in photography, art direction, and visual storytelling. I love creating stories through image, whether that means documenting the energy of a live show, capturing community events, creating an editorial, or developing a visual identity from the ground up. I am interested in work that feels human, expressive, and a little unexpected.
When I'm not designing or taking pictures, find me at the movie theater or reading photo books at the library.
